Working with Kirkham Motorsports and other vehicle manufacturers and customizers over the years has been a phenomenal experience. Designing, CNCing, fabricating, all culminate in one exhilarating experience when it is finally time to drive these incredible vehicles!
I had the opportunity to work on the 40GT, a concept vehicle built from scratch with a body made of copper and a mid engine and transmission from Ford for GT. We built the 40GT with an unimaginable timeline and an impossible material. The day the vehicle was completed it was shipped to Las Vegas where it debuted at SEMA capturing the cover of Autoweek and the imagination of tens of thousands. Being lighter than the GT makes it an incredible performer and the polished body with brushed flames could stop any show.
